2026 CPHA Board Application/Nomination

At the Colorado Public Health Association (CPHA), we are committed to fostering a leadership team that reflects the rich diversity of the communities we serve. We strongly encourage applications from individuals of all races, ethnicities, national origins, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and lived experiences.

We recognize that systemic inequities in the United States have led to the disproportionate policing, false arrests, and incarceration of people from historically marginalized communities. In alignment with our values of equity and justice, CPHA does **not** require criminal background checks as part of this application process. We affirm that a criminal record does not define your ability to lead, serve, or contribute meaningfully to the field of public health.

If you have a criminal history, please know you are welcome and encouraged to apply. Your perspective, resilience, and commitment to public health are valuable and vital to shaping the future of CPHA and the communities we represent.

Please submit your application no later than 5:00pm on October 24th, 2025 . Please note that all responses indicated as such will be made public on the ballot webpage for voting purposes. Responses cannot be edited after submission. For alternative methods of application submission, please contact info@coloradopublichealth.org.
